Technology
Seeker uses BRITE™, a completely new approach for analyzing application behavior. Seeker correlates complex attack scenarios with runtime code execution, memory and data flow of the application. This approach is highly accurate and advantageous over existing technologies.
- Visibility of Vulnerability Occurrence – Seeker is able to accurately pinpoint vulnerabilities by examining the executed code and the application's memory. Seeker analyzes the behavior of the application in each situation, rather than attempting to guess its operation. This allows high accuracy detection, eliminating false positives.
- Smart Attack Tree – Seeker dynamically creates tests using an attack tree imitating the workflow of a hacker. Utilizing this approach Seeker applies only the relevant tests out of millions of possibilities, guaranteeing a quick test process without compromises.
- Automatic Exploit Creation – Seeker's engine automatically creates Proof-of-Concept exploits, enabling accurate classification of identified vulnerabilities by their actual exploitability rather than by estimations. No other technology does this today.
- Detection of Data Related Vulnerabilities – By correlating data with code execution, Seeker is able to address complex logical vulnerabilities, including the ability to test for unauthorized access, application restrictions bypassing, etc.
- Code Execution Pathfinder – By correlating data and code execution, Seeker is able to identify independent code segments which complete a full transaction such as wizards, multi-tier applications, queue based operations, etc. This allows for detection of complicated vulnerabilities spread over several tiers and code modules.
